
Apple, Amazon, and other tech giants unveil new hardware products at Apple event
The Apple keynote on Monday was an event that offered an opportunity for the company to show off its new iPhone X and the new Apple Watch Series 3.
The event also marked the company’s second time at the Cupertino event since it was founded by Steve Jobs in 2007.
The event offered plenty of information about the new hardware lineup and products in general.
The new iPhones and the upcoming Apple Watch series will include the Apple A11 processor, a “next generation” camera, a new version of Apple Pay, and a redesigned home button.
Apple will also unveil a new “HomeKit” hub for connected home devices.
Apple will be using the event to unveil the new MacBook Pro with Retina display, the latest version of the 13-inch MacBook, and an upgraded version of its AirPods earphones.
Apple’s new products will be available starting today for pre-order starting at $1,199, according to an email obtained by The Verge.
All of the new products are expected to hit store shelves sometime in the fall.
Apple is expected to offer the new phones at select Apple Stores in North America and Canada.
The company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference, which is taking place in San Francisco this weekend, is expected soon to get a big boost as well.
As of Thursday, Apple’s conference was expected to have about 20,000 attendees.
Apple has a busy fall ahead of it.
The company is expected on Thursday to unveil a slew of new iPhones, and it’s expected to unveil several new Apple TV models.
