When Google Voice finally arrives, the Sonos speakers could soon speak to you
Sonos’ move to speak to speakers has been going on for a while now, with the company launching a pair of speakers earlier this year.
These new speakers are the first of their kind, and they will work with any smartphone that supports Google Voice, as well as the new Chromecast.
Sonos’ speakers can also be used as a remote control, which means they can be used to control the volume of a speaker when it’s connected to the internet.
The speakers work with both the Google Assistant and Google Home devices.
Sonotasker has been around for a little over a year, but it was the company’s announcement that they would be moving from the $99 Chromecast to the $199 Sonos Play that really kicked things off.
Sono also unveiled the Sonotaskers speakers on the same day as the launch of the new Google Home speakers.
Sonocaster is now on sale, with a price tag of $149, with more details on that at the moment.
