‘Bluetooth Speaker’ to be unveiled by LG in June
The “Bluetooth speaker” is set to go on sale in the U.S. this summer, according to a new report.
The report, which was shared with Breitbart News by a source familiar with the product, claims that the LG Bluetooth speaker will be unveiled in June, just two months after the release of the LG G6, the latest Android flagship smartphone.
The “Bluether” will reportedly have “micro-USB charging ports and a USB-C port for charging other devices.”
The device will reportedly include a “microUSB port for connecting to your favorite smartphones and tablets.”LG will be selling the “Blu” in an effort to get people to invest in the new “Bluewear,” a smartwatch that features a “Bluearn” button on the back of the watch that acts as a remote for wireless charging.
The device also comes with “a pair of magnets” that can “recharge the device.”
While the “Smartwatch” is expected to launch sometime this summer , the “Bluetooth speaker,” as the product is referred to, could be a preview of LG’s upcoming “Bluestream” device, which will reportedly also include wireless charging and other wireless features.
The LG Bluetooth Speaker will reportedly come in three sizes, and the product will be priced at $199.99.
